Verify the EHIQ prediction record

Every prediction is registered in an append-only, hash-chained ledger before its outcome is known. "Append-only" is only a promise about our database, so we anchor the chain externally: recompute the head and check the timestamp yourself. Nothing here asks you to trust us.

How to verify it yourself

  1. Download our signed registry export (published with the scoring code).
  2. Recompute each row's hash = sha256(canonical claim | previous hash); confirm the chain is unbroken and ends at the head above.
  3. Verify the OpenTimestamps proof for the head with ots verify — it timestamps the head on the Bitcoin blockchain, which we do not control.
  4. Cross-check the head against the signed commit in our public anchor repo.

The prediction track record is an interim, pre-registered, market-referenced record; skill numbers are shown only with sample size and a confidence interval, labeled not-decision-grade while the sample is small.
